Today, on the occasion of the 11th commemoration of the day Venerable Thich Thong Lac entered Nirvana, I would like to express my deep gratitude. Son, Pham Manh Hung, Dharma name Quang Tri, currently living in Da Nang, was born and raised in Thai Binh.
Since childhood, I had to work hard, even kill and eat living beings to make a living. After getting married, I was guided by my father-in-law in practicing Pure Land rituals: releasing animals, chanting, and from there I learned about vegetarianism. Since then, I have only known vegetarianism for 2 days a month. My husband and I bought 3 Buddha statues; Adida, The Chi, Avalokiteśvara come to worship, then chant sutras, mantras, etc. every day.
